CORPORATE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT SOLUTIONS

Our philosophy is that whilst training programmes are learner – centred, our company training solutions remain driven and shaped by the realities of corporate needs.

The difference is that we treasure our ability to provide a meaningful learning experience to the individual learner in their quest for lifelong learning.

Our uniqueness, however lies in also being geared to the specific needs of the corporate client as determined by their business, corporate social responsibility, B-BBEE and other training imperatives.

In serving Corporate and General Public training needs we focus on and subscribe to the concept of adult life long learning as a vehicle to advancement in the economy.

We are different because we:

    • Recognise the importance of the individual learner in his/her learning ventures.
    • Believe in the value of investing in lifelong learning for employees.
    • Understand and value the training needs of our corporate clients.
    • Specialize in tailored B-BBEE and corporate social skills programmes and learnerships.

We add value because we enhance corporate  spends for B-BBEE skills development, socio economic development and procurement by:

    • Being  a B-BBEE level 2 QSE (Qualifying Small Enterprise) and
    • Having more than 62% black South African ownership.

A Skills Development Facilitator is a must for your business!

    • Have you been getting your grants back from your SETA?
    • Is someone planning , monitoring and ensuring that your training suits your B-BBEE strategy?
    • Have you got learnerships and other B-BBEE training programmes in place?

If the answer is no, then the chances are that you need help.

Why should you bother?

There is no legal obligation to do any training or to comply as long as you are paying your monthly SKILLS DEVELOPMENT Levies to the receiver of revenue.

However, failing to run a proper skills development process/strategy may mean:

    1. No B-BBEE points for Skills Development
(Skills carries 25 points for larger companies and 30 BEE points for smaller companies).
    2. Impact on your employment equity compliancy
( Employment Equity requires targeted upskilling and training to be implemented).
    3. No grants being received by SETA
(Complying enables your company to retrieve up to 70% of your skills development levy).
    4. Disqualification from accessing discretionary grants, learnerships and other training initiatives.

These incentives and requirements make it imperative for companies to comply.
