Why Is There A Need For National Key Point Training?
South Africa has some of the most important infrastructure in the world, including government buildings, nuclear facilities, military installations, communications hubs and power plants.
In order to ensure these sites are well protected, the South African government has identified them as ‘key points’. This means that the security personnel at these sites must have a certain level of training and competency to provide adequate protection.
The National Key Point Training provides this specialized training.
Who Needs To Be Trained?
The National Key Point Training is open to all personnel involved in the protection of a national key point, including members of the police, military and private security companies. The training is also open to those who are responsible for managing a key point’s security, such as managers and supervisors.
How Is The Training Conducted?
The training is conducted by experienced and qualified instructors who use a combination of classroom lectures, practical exercises and hands-on experience to ensure that the trainees gain the necessary skills.
