Course Introduction:
The Intermediate End User Computing Skills Programme is designed to build on foundational End User Computing competencies by developing learners' ability to utilise intermediate-level features of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and electronic mail applications. The programme equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to create professional workplace documents, analyse and present data, develop engaging presentations, and manage electronic communications effectively. Through a blended learning approach, learners gain the competence needed to apply these digital skills confidently in a variety of workplace environments.

Course Purpose:
The purpose of this skills programme is to enhance employability and workplace progression by enabling learners to confidently and safely use a range of computing devices and software applications. Learners will develop proficiency in the selection, use, and integration of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and electronic mail applications to perform intermediate-level workplace tasks. The programme prepares learners to create and manage professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentations while applying these skills within specialised workplace contexts.

Entry Requirements:
Learners must have achieved NQF Level 3 and possess Basic End User Computing (EUC) skills. Learners who do not meet the formal entry requirements may gain access through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in accordance with QCTO policy.
