Course Introduction:
The Advanced End User Computing Skills Programme is designed to equip learners with advanced knowledge and practical skills in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, web, and electronic communication applications. The programme builds on existing End User Computing competencies by introducing advanced functionalities, automation tools, data analysis techniques, collaboration features, and interactive presentation methods. Learners will develop the ability to create sophisticated workplace documents, advanced spreadsheets, professional presentations, and utilise digital communication technologies effectively in specialised workplace environments.
Course Purpose:
The purpose of this skills programme is to enhance employability and workplace progression by enabling learners to confidently and safely use a range of computing devices and advanced software applications. Learners will develop proficiency in the selection, use, and integration of advanced word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and digital communication applications to perform complex workplace tasks. The programme prepares learners to create advanced-level documents, analyse and report on data, design interactive presentations, and apply advanced computing skills within specialised workplace contexts.
Entry Requirements:
Learners must hold a qualification at NQF Level 3 and possess Intermediate End User Computing (EUC) skills. Learners who do not meet the formal entry requirements may gain access through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in accordance with QCTO policy.
