It’s also known as Emergency First Responder Level 3 or Advanced First Aid. This unit standard is to enable the first responder to react to emergencies at an advanced first aid level, until the arrival of more professional emergency personnel.

Length of Course:  3 Days

Entry Requirements:

  • Communication at NQF Level 2.
  • Mathematical literacy at NQF Level 2.

These Unit Standards need to be completed prior to training:

  • ID 120496: Provide risk-based primary emergency care/first aid in the workplace.
  • ID: 260597: Provide information about HIV and AIDS and treatment options in community care and support situations.
  • Ability to attend any of our branches in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.
  • The following documents are required when booking / attending the course: ID Book / Smart Card, CV and Matric Certificate or Last School Leaving Report

  • Environmental illnesses and injuries

COURSE OUTLINE:

After completing registration, the student will attend the nearest Vital College and Enpower Training Services in person for three days to complete both theoretical and practical exams. These sessions will occur on the date scheduled prior to registration.

ASSESSMENTS:

Once all theoretical and practical assessments have successfully been completed, the student will receive a certificate of completion.
