This particular skills programme is developed to provide you with the following management skills:

Why should I do this course?

This short course contributes to the FETC: Generic Management qualification.

This skills programme lays the foundation for the development of management qualifications across various sectors and industries. It specifically develops management competencies required by learners in any occupation, particularly those who are currently operating as junior managers.

It also introduces key terms, rules, concepts, principles and practices of management that will enable learners to be informed managers in any occupation. It has also been developed to enable managers or prospective managers to access higher education and provide flexible access to life-long learning.

Who is this course intended for?

Individuals who wish to be or are already junior managers/team leaders to gain the basic skills to function as such in a range of business entities, workplaces, and organisations, specifically, those wishing to develop Managerial Problem Solving.

Course Outline:
Once your registration is complete, you will be added to our online learning system, giving you remote access to all learning guides and resources. Our online platform, Moodle, will support your learning journey by providing access to workshops, course materials, assessments, and podcasts covering key elements of the course.

Assessments:
Once all online theoretical assessments have been successfully completed, the student will have access to the FISA exam written at one of our campuses (JHB, CPT, DBN) Once this has been successfully completed an electronic Certificate of Completion will be provided.

Benchmarking was done by comparison to Unit Standards/Outcomes of learning against the Standards for ‘Generic management’ in:
Australia
Singapore
New Zealand
Europe
