These bursaries are made available through its SETA/QCTO-accredited training partner, Vital College.

All applications must be submitted online. The bursary programme provides funding for selected online and class-based skills programmes offered by Vital College. This programme is a credit-bearing skills programme (32 credits) and is based on the FETC: Generic Management (NQF Level 4) qualification.

This skills programme aims to:

  • Provide an understanding of organisational structures, including the distinction between core functions (such as production or service delivery) and support functions (such as HR, finance, and IT), and how these functions collectively achieve business objectives.
  • Clarify the role of junior management within the broader management framework, including communication channels, reporting lines, and accountability.
  • Demonstrate how individual roles and departments contribute to overall organisational success and strategic objectives.
  • Develop a structured and systematic approach to achieving organisational goals through effective planning, organising, monitoring, and performance measurement.
  • Strengthen teamwork and collaboration by promoting role clarity, accountability, and effective team performance.

Important Information

  • Bursaries are awarded at the sole discretion of Vital College to South African citizens.
  • No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of applications.
