This course explains and covers the installation standards for Fire Detection in Hospitals.
Learners will be able to:
- Understand the scope and requirement of SANS 322 and the relationship with SANS 10139
- Understand the positioning and types of fire detectors to be used in hospitals.
- Understand Manual call points usage and siting
- Understand Audible and visual alarms in hospitals
- Understand how to interface to other building services
This course is SAQCC Approved and forms part of the requirements for Fire Detection Commissioner level.
